Zagora, Draa Valley and Sahara are three iconic places on the former caravan trade routes. If you want something different from the hustle and bustle of colourful cities or charming landscapes of seaside resorts – set out with us on this tempting trail through a real desert, sand dunes, oases with date palm trees. You will experience the nomadic life, eat a meal in the desert, feel like a real fearless adventurer.

Day 1
Welcome at the Agadir/Marrakesh airport, transfer to hotel to Zaghora. Night in Zaghora

Day 1
Welcome at the Agadir/Marrakesh airport, transfer to hotel to Zaghora. Night in Zaghora
Day 2
After breakfast, we saddle horses, and we start the trek. We move along the Draa River valley, famous for the cultivation of date palms. We ride through palm groves and traditional Berber villages. We set up our first camp in a beautiful oasis.
Day 3
On the third day, we reach the Draa gorges surrounded by stunning scenery and interesting rock formations. We rest during a picnic among palm trees, then we head to our camp in Tagounit
Day 4
In the morning we ride through the Col of Foum Alhisn to reach the vast sand dunes surrounding the village of M’hamid, which is at the end of the Zagora region. We spend the night in a traditional nomadic camp. There is a bathroom available. This evenening we can visit Erg Chigaga.
Day 5
We ride on the dunes in the morning; we eat lunch in the desert. In the afternoon we cross the Sahara plateaus; when we reach the middle of the desert, we set up camp.
Day 6
On this day, we ride along sandy and rocky paths, admiring the landscape full of charming, exotic trees. At lunchtime, we stop in the shaded valley for a meal. In the afternoon, we cross the pass at an altitude of about 1400 m above the sea level to spend the night next to nomad’s tents
Day 7
In the morning we trot and gallop for the last time before returning to the groves of the Draa valley. And that will be the end of this amazing journey. After saying goodbye to the guides and horses, we drive to Agadir or Marrakesh or we sleep in Zaghora.
Day 8
On the last day, we offer a transfer to the departure airport.
